So what is LORIC 2.0?

LORIC 2.0 is a project offering FREE data-related business support to eligible SME's in the Greater Lincolnshire Area.

What does this mean?

The LORIC team can offer fully funded support based on the data needs of eligible businesses. The team can work with you to identify these needs if you are not sure where to start.

Once a support plan has been agreed, a LORIC team member will work with you on bespoke tasks that will support your business. This could involve, amongst other things:

  • Analysing data you already hold
  • Exploring open data sets
  • Desk-top research
  • Market research
  • Data gathering
  • Conducting surveys, interviews and focus groups
  • Feasibility testing
  • Social impact evaluation
  • Writing reports

How is it funded?

The project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is part of Bishop Grosseteste University. The LORIC project is receiving up to £399,030 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for ERDF. Established by the European Union, ERDF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.

How can it be accessed?

The LORIC team are always happy to speak to any SME with an interest in enrolling on the project. You can email them at loric@bishopg.ac.uk
